The evening before Aoife & Aodhan’s wedding was one of nothing much more than wind & rain, & on the drive up to Donegal on the morning of their wedding, I really believed that their outdoor ceremony was going to be put to the test by the incredible rain most northern counties were having.
Right up until just before their ceremony, the wind & rain hadn’t let up, & the possibility of everything being moved indoors was a real one.
Out of nowhere though, the skies just open beautifully, & we had an afternoon & most of the evening of amazing sunshine.
To see a young couple so madly in love, sharing their special day with their nearest & dearest, was such a blessing to us
All the months of planning a wedding during the Covid-19 pandemic had paid off - they were finally man & wife!
