What is an elopement?
Elopements are no longer the cheesy or sleazy things couples choose to do when they sneak off to Vegas to get married.
These days, elopements are a way in which couples can enjoy the day of their dreams, surrounded by as many or as little people as possible, in a setting that they’ve always imagined or dreamed of. In a nutshell, the only thing that truly matters in an elopement is: you two committing your lives to one another!
Elopements can be as varied as each couple’s love story, & each one can be tailor-made right down to the finest detail. Do you want to get married on the peak of a mountain? Do it. Want a quiet, family-only celebration overlooking a picturesque seaside village? Do it.
Ultimately, there are no hard & fast rules when it comes to eloping. You will often see us use the phrases “intimate wedding” & “elopement” interchangeably, & we do so because neither name strays from the fact that the day is about you, the couple, & nothing else.

Where do couples elope to?
Ultimately, couples generally choose to elope to a location that either has a special meaning or symbolism to them, or that has been a location on their must-visit bucket list for some time, and tying the knot there would not only be the ideal, but would also have an even greater meaning & “special-ness” in year to come.
While we serve eloping couples throughout the world, most of our context & expertise is based around the island of Ireland. With the likes of the Dark Hedges, the Causeway Coast, the Cliffs of Moher, the Mourne Mountains, Macgillycuddy's Reeks, the Wicklow Mountains, the Dingle Peninsula & many other stunning locations to choose from, how could you go wrong with choosing to elope in Ireland?
We also cater to couples who choose to elope further afield, & we are therefore available to shoot destination elopements throughout the world.
